Aiti Belti Trattoria, located in Khyndailad, has proudly been awarded the title of Best Family Restaurant in Meghalaya at the prestigious 7th Food and Hospitality Awards 2023. The ceremony, organized by Merit Awards Market Research Pvt Ltd, took place on August 1 in New Delhi, and it was attended by esteemed figures in the food and beverage industry, including renowned Indian chef Sanjeev Kapoor.
Out of around 40 restaurants from across India, Aiti Belti Trattoria stood out for its exceptional service and commitment to offering delectable local Khasi cuisine. The award was presented to Balawanpynskhem Suting, fondly known as Bah Richie, who has contributed to the restaurant’s success.
Aiti Belti Trattoria was not the only establishment from the North East to be recognized at the awards; Khorikaa was also honored for Best Assamese Cuisine.
