In a momentous collaboration, Marriott International has joined forces with Bhakti Akarsh Residency Private Limited to construct the first-ever five-star hotel in the sacred city of Vrindavan, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The official signing of this partnership took place against the backdrop of the prestigious Global Design Confluence 2023, a co-sponsored event by Marriott International and Hotelier India, with the support of Jaquar. The signing ceremony unfolded in the lavish setting of the Courtyard by Marriott Aravalli.

Ranju Alex, the Area Vice-President for South Asia at Marriott International, graced the occasion with his presence, alongside senior executives from Marriott, and the distinguished promoters of Bhakti Akarsh Residency Private Limited, Parul and Murari Agarwal.

The significance of this landmark project lies in its potential to transform Vrindavan’s hospitality landscape by introducing a five-star hotel experience to the devout and the discerning travelers visiting this culturally and spiritually enriched city. Ranju Alex, speaking about the venture, emphasized the growing importance of religious tourism in India. The move underscores the commitment of the hospitality industry to meet the evolving needs and preferences of travelers visiting religious and culturally significant destinations in the country. This development is expected to bring a new level of comfort and luxury to Vrindavan, catering to the diverse needs of tourists while enhancing the region’s status as a destination of choice for the spiritually inclined.
