Mumbai’s renowned Sahara Star has welcomed Santanu Sarkar as its new Hotel Manager, adding over 15 years of diverse hospitality experience to its leadership team. Sarkar, a goal-oriented leader with an extensive background in hotel operations, is set to play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects, including guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, staff management, and financial performance.
In his previous roles at esteemed establishments like Hyatt, Taj Group, ITC Welcome Hotel Grandbay, Radisson Blu, and Crowne Plaza, Sarkar has demonstrated a proven track record of leadership and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. His journey began at Hyatt Gachibowli, where he started as a Team Member in the Food and Beverage Service Department.
Sarkar’s appointment aligns with Sahara Star’s commitment to elevating its status as a premier luxury destination, offering enriching experiences for both business and leisure travelers. Salil Fadnis, General Manager at Sahara Star, expressed enthusiasm about Sarkar joining the leadership team, emphasizing the collaboration to enhance the hotel’s standing through captivating sensorial experiences.
Sarkar, a graduate with a three-year diploma in Hotel Management & Applied Nutrition from the Durgapur Society of Management Science, West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, is expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to Sahara Star’s ongoing pursuit of excellence in the hospitality industry.
