The Oberoi Group has unveiled The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, a meticulously restored 350-year-old architectural jewel that has been reborn as a luxury retreat under The Oberoi Group brand. Originally built by Maharaja Hindu Pat of the Bundela Dynasty, the palace is set within a sprawling 76-acre estate that includes a pristine natural lake.

The palace rises from the slopes of the Maniyagarh Hills, surrounded by ancient Sal and Palash forests, and is framed by the Vindhyachal mountain ranges. The restoration process was an “extraordinary journey of bringing history back to life,” focusing on preserving the architectural integrity of this remarkable Bundela monument while sensitively introducing contemporary comforts. Every arch, courtyard, and detail has been revived to honor its heritage and create a timeless luxury experience.
The estate features 65 elegantly designed rooms and suites, including grand Palace Suites, private pool villas, and accommodations with private gardens and terraces. Noteworthy features include the expansive Kohinoor Suite with two bedrooms and a private pool.
