In observance of World Tourism Day 2023, under the stewardship of the United Hoteliers of Udaipur Society, the inaugural “Legends of Tourism Awards 2023” ceremony was held at the Raghu Mahal Hotel’s banquet hall. Society President Mr. U.B. Srivastava, Secretary Mr. Rupam Sarkar, Vice President Mr. Devendra Parihar, and Treasurer Mr. Ujjwal Menaria shared that this prestigious event honored distinguished, senior members directly and indirectly associated with the hotel and tourism industry for their unparalleled contributions. The guest of honor, Ms. Shikha Saxena, praised this unprecedented initiative as the first of its kind in Rajasthan, recognizing various categories, including hotels, travel agencies, tourist guides, bus services, promoters of Rajasthani folk arts, taxi services, auto-rickshaw drivers, railway station porters, handicrafts, miniature paintings, restaurants, and more.
