Vinexposium, now in sole control of Vinexpo America, has strategically chosen to co-locate its Northern American trade event with the Specialty Food Association’s Summer Fancy Food Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York on June 24-25. This decision, aimed at capitalizing on each other’s strengths, will create a unique platform showcasing the complementary nature of wine, spirits, and specialty food products.
The collaboration between Vinexpo America, in its 6th edition in 2024, and the Summer Fancy Food Show, now in its 68th edition, is expected to enhance the overall experience for attendees. By aligning the gourmet and artisanal focus of the Summer Fancy Food Show with the diversity of wine and spirits exhibited at Vinexpo America, both organizers believe this co-location will open up new avenues for collaboration, cross-promotion, and increased sales potential.
Vinexpo America, which has seen a remarkable 30% year-over-year growth, is looking to leverage the forty-year experience of the Vinexposium group in international trade event creation. This move is part of Vinexposium’s strategy to amplify its presence in North America, utilizing its industry knowledge, extensive network, and global reach.
Rodolphe Lameyse, Vinexposium CEO, stated, “We chose to co-locate Vinexpo America with the Summer Fancy Food Show next year to further optimize our exhibitors’ and visitors’ return on investment. The Fancy Food Show is the premiere destination for those who want to experience the incredible breadth of specialty products available today, from specialty food and beverage makers to innovators and trendsetters. It will enhance the overall experience of all participants.”
Phil Robinson, SVP, of Member Development for the Specialty Food Association, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Our buyers have expressed significant interest in expanding into more wine options, making this a natural pairing that will add to the experience for attendees and exhibitors of both Shows.”
The Summer Fancy Food Show will feature thousands of specialty food products from around the world, educational programming, events, and networking opportunities. The Show is open only to qualified members of the specialty food trade, industry affiliates, and journalists.
