ZORKO Surprises The Food Industry With Over 108 Outlets Established In Less Than One Year

-KH News Desk(cbedit@imaws.org)

ZORKO was founded by two self-made entrepreneurs, Anand Nahar and Amrit Nahar, who are both engineering graduates. The idea for ZORKO was born during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic when the two discovered the joy of cooking and experimenting with new dishes at home. They realized that while cooking at home was fun and cost-effective, dining out at restaurants often comes with a high price tag. This sparked an idea to create a cafe that offered high-quality food at an affordable cost while providing a welcoming and inviting ambiance.

ZORKO started with over 75 veg items, including pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, etc., ranging from the price 29 to 229. The restaurant quickly gained recognition, and the founders started receiving franchise inquiries in the second month. However, they decided to run the business for at least one year to understand every minute detail of the business.

During the first year of the business, the founders faced numerous challenges and problems. They worked 16-18 hours a day, compromising their health and personal life, as success demanded many sacrifices, sleepless nights, and hard work. Despite these challenges, they persevered and listed out all the issues and challenges faced during the year, working to eliminate them completely. Within only 11 months of launching their franchise model, ZORKO has become one of the most successful startups in the F&B industry in India.

Their hard work and dedication paid off as they were able to come up with a unique franchise model. The founders took their time to understand the business, faced challenges head-on, and worked tirelessly to ensure that the restaurant provided high-quality food at an affordable cost with maximum customer satisfaction. Their commitment to their vision is what helped them create a successful business that provides value to its customers.
