Organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), AAHAR is an important B2B event for the food and hospitality sector. The event was inaugurated by Piyush Goyal, Minster, Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, Government of India on April 26, 2022. Goyal expressed his satisfaction with the 36th AAHAR – International Food and Hospitality Fair being held after a gap of two years due to COVID.
At the time of inauguration, a few exhibitors expressed their dissatisfaction with certain issues faced by them due to electricity failure, no water supply, lifts not working and poor housekeeping service by ITPO.
The exhibitors were assured of immediate action on the issues faced by them. Further, ITPO also announced that all those exhibitors who had difficulties due to power outage can take a refund for the first day if they so wish or they can be given an extension by one day at no extra cost and those who do not want to continue to participate in AAHAR 2022 can be given a full refund.
Further, ITPO assured to provide one additional complimentary visitor pass per sqm. to all the exhibitors to facilitate more business interactions.
