The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and dmg events have joined forces to form KAOUN International, a newly established event planning firm, to create a global portfolio in the food and hospitality industries. With the new alliance, existing business and consumer events like GULFOOD and The Hotel Show will expand their reach into new markets.
20 corporate and consumer events from KAOUN International’s portfolio cover industries including technology, cuisine and hospitality, sustainability, broadcast and satellite, automotive, talent development, and leisure marine.
The new joint venture will debut The Saudi Food & Beverage Show & The Saudi Food Manufacturing Show in Riyadh from 20-22 June 2023 as its maiden foray into the international market. GULFOOD Global will be connected to the first event. For September 2023, The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia will be relaunched to incorporate the larger hospitality, HORECA, and interior industries. Existing dmg events including food and lodging in South Africa will also be transferred to the new joint venture.
