Thomas Abraham, an industry veteran of three decades, has been appointed as the Executive Vice President of Bengaluru-based VRO Hospitality. He brings with him a proven track record of high performance with the country’s leading hotel chains, having worked for The Oberoi Group, Marriott, Taj Luxury Hotels, Leela Kempinski, Movenpick, and Hyatt Group. His last assignment was with Hyatt Regency Pune, and he joins VRO Hospitality at a time when the company is in the middle of an aggressive expansion timeline across India.
VRO Hospitality owns several upscale bars and restaurants across various cities in India, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, Kochi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ooty. The company’s brands include Badmaash Lounge, Mirage, Plan B, Taki Taki, and Cafe Noir. VRO is focused on expanding nationally and internationally, with brands such as Badmaash, Cafe Noir, and Taki Taki being pioneers in pitching the VRO flag in uncharted territories.
