Heritage Foods, a dairy company based in India, has launched a new line of buttermilk products called ‘A-One’ and a range of milkshakes in convenient single-serve cartons. The low-calorie spiced buttermilk is made by fermenting fresh Heritage milk using a unique combination of cultures, resulting in a smooth and thick texture with an ideal balance of sourness and saltiness. The drink is then blended with natural extracts of ginger and green chilies to give it a spicy twist, making it a perfect on-the-go drink. The A-One spiced buttermilk will be available in 180ml packs with a six-month shelf life and a price tag of ₹20/-.
Heritage Foods has also revamped its milkshake line, introducing new flavors and an attractive appearance. Classic flavors such as Vanilla and Strawberry remain available, and the company plans to introduce two new varieties, Chocolate & Caramel and Cookies & Cream, which will appeal to both adults and children. The new milkshake range will be sold in 180ml packs for ₹40/- and 125ml packs for ₹15/-. Additionally, the company is reintroducing its popular “Premium Badam milk with real Badam bits” under the brand name ‘Badam Charger.’ The product recipe now includes a higher quantity of badam bits, and it will be available in 180ml plastic bottles with vibrant packaging for ₹35/-.
To take customers on a nostalgic journey, Heritage Foods will release ice lollies with authentic and fascinating Indian flavors like ‘Kala Khatta’ and ‘Gol Gappa’ this summer. Consumers can enjoy these refreshing treats on a scorching summer day for only ₹10. These new products are available through various channels such as general trade stores, Heritage Happiness Points, Heritage Parlours, modern retail stores, and online grocery platforms.
Mrs. Bhuvaneswari Nara, Vice Chairperson & Managing Director, said that the launch of the A-One Spiced Buttermilk & new Milkshakes in Combi-block packs is yet another step in the direction of growing the contribution of value-added products (VAP) in the company’s portfolio. She hopes that the new products will not only delight consumers but also help them face the harsh summer season with a smile. Mrs. Brahmani Nara, Executive Director of Heritage Foods Limited, added that the new Badam Charger recipe is formulated to deliver great taste with no added artificial colors or flavors and with 30% less sugar compared to other similar flavored milk-drinks.
