Mumbai: Andheri’s vibrant new pan-Asian restaurant offers authentic Asian cuisine with a fusion twist, creating a modern dining experience in a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
Shifuku, a newly launched pan-Asian restaurant in the heart of Andheri, aims to provide an authentic dining experience with a fusion twist. Founded by Aman Singh Deep and Monika Rathore, the restaurant strives to offer a vibrant atmosphere that can transition from a refreshing daytime vibe to an exciting night scene.
Spanning 4400 sqft, Shifuku features indoor and outdoor dining areas and a private dining space on the top floor for special occasions. The restaurant breaks away from the traditional dark color scheme often associated with Asian establishments, opting instead for a fresh and modern design. The predominant colors of pink, white, and beige create an inviting ambiance suitable for any time of the day.
“We are thrilled to share the exciting news about the opening of our restaurant. Through Shifuku, our goal was to challenge the notion of traditional dark Asian establishments. Recognizing the lack of Asian venues offering a daytime ambiance, we set out to create a unique culinary experience where patrons can indulge in both authentic and fusion Asian cuisine,” shares the founders.
Inspired by Japan’s serene landscapes, the restaurant incorporates cherry blossoms and Harisens throughout its design. These decorative accents add elegance and cultural authenticity. The indoor roof of the restaurant features vintage art-inspired elements depicting flowers, birds, and trees, creating an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of an evening in Japan. The outdoor dining area exudes a relaxed energy with its cane furniture, hanging flower pots, and captivating artwork called “Noodle Man” on the wall.
Chef Ritesh Tulsian, an expert consultant chef, meticulously crafted the menu to ensure a perfect culinary experience. The dishes are prepared with attention to detail, combining traditional Asian flavors with innovative twists.
To complement the dining experience, Shifuku offers a selection of enchanting cocktails crafted by Sumit Yadav, the Head Mixologist. These cocktails are designed to enhance the overall enjoyment of the food and provide a delightful accompaniment to the fusion of Asian flavors.
