Baskin-Robbins has announced that their April Flavor of the Month will be Peanut Butter and Jelly Ice Cream, which will be available nationwide from April 1, 2023. The new ice cream flavor, named PB ‘n J Ice Cream, features a brown butter base for a subtle and nutty taste, complemented with a grape jelly twist. Customers can order the new flavor in scoops, cups, cones, and more from their nearest participating store and online.
In addition to the new ice cream flavor, Baskin-Robbins will also launch a fruity range of dairy-free smoothies and a customizable Turn the Tassel Cake, both of which will be available at all participating stores across the country. The company announced the launch of the new offerings through a press release with Jeanne Bolger, Director of Product Research & Development, who expressed that nothing sparks more joy than the nostalgic taste of peanut butter and jelly.
Bolger also stated that Baskin-Robbins’ new Flavor of the Month and spring lineup of sips and cakes has something for everyone to celebrate life’s big and small yay moments, reflecting the brand’s commitment to offering a range of options for customers.
Baskin-Robbins is known for creating more than 1,400 distinct ice cream flavors over the years, and the PB ‘n J Ice Cream offers a contemporary twist on the nostalgic flavors of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The smooth peanut butter ice cream is loaded with sticky and sweet grape jelly swirls, and the brown butter-flavored base complements the fruitiness of the grape jelly swirls.
