Sayaji Hotel Kolhapur, recently organized a traditional English cake-mixing ceremony at the Moon Tree Café. On this festive occasion, our visitors, in-house cooks, and the entire crew took part in the ceremony by marinating the dry fruits to be used in the cake, including almonds, cashews, and pistachios, in brandy, rum, whisky, and sherry. The evening was filled with calming music and high tea refreshments for the guests.
Mr. Amitabh Sharma, General Manager, of Sayaji Hotel Kolhapur, stated on this occasion, “Christmas is almost around the corner, and the traditional Christmas cake is one of the most essential components of the festival celebration. To commemorate this anniversary, we sponsored a cake-making session to spread the joy of the holiday season. It was an honor to witness this centuries-old custom with our distinguished guests, complete crew, and people from all walks of life who joined together to bring in the holiday spirit”.
