Mukunda Foods is a company that specializes in kitchen-tech and provides automated solutions to simplify complex and repetitive cooking tasks that normally require skilled staff. By using these machines, food brands can expand more quickly while remaining operationally efficient.
“The food service request in India is expected to continue to grow in the near future, and food tech could be one of the major motorists. While new tech results would keep coming while the available tech will keep evolving and improving as the use of self-service kiosks in restaurants is on the rise across India, as they offer efficient contactless and frictionless service that makes it easier to capture data and customer loyalty” shares Eshwar K Vikas, co-founder & CEO of Mukunda Foods.
For instance, training operators across 50 outlets and ensuring they follow standard operating procedures can be a difficult task, particularly when personnel leave and the training process must start all over again. However, by automating these processes, food taste consistency is maintained, and training efforts are reduced.
Moreover, these machines are IoT-enabled, so if a recipe is changed in the system, it is automatically replicated across all machines. The AI component of the system can also predict potential machine failures and shutdowns in the next two weeks. If any issues are detected, the service team can address them before they become critical. To date, Mukunda Foods has automated around 5,000 kitchens, covering approximately 80% of global cuisine.
The food and beverage industry are vast, with over 1.6 million outlets currently in operation. More or less, all of these outlets face challenges, such as maintaining consistency, dealing with staff turnover, and managing costs.
These unique solutions are designed to improve operational efficiency and aid in scaling the business. Given the large industry size, there is ample opportunity for growth.
