Unilever Food Solutions (UFS), a department that is run by one of the world’s leading suppliers of fast-moving consumer goods ‘UNILEVER’ has come up with a idea to initiate healthy-eating with a twist in food choices.
UFS has launched its first Future Menu Trends report 2023, whichwas inclusive of Modern Comfort Food, Irresistible Vegetables, Wild & Pure, Flavour Contrasts, Feel-Good Food, The New Sharing, Mindful Proteins, and Low-Waste Menus.
“Identifying the hottest global trends is critical in our quest to provide solutions for chefs, who are contending with challenges ranging from labour shortages to tackling sustainability issues like food waste,” said Hanneke Faber, President of Nutrition Unilever.
He also added that, this future menu trend report will offer solutions-based insights and recipes that inspire chefs and food operators for a changing future.
The report was created through a partnership with a considerable number of professional chefs, totalling more than 1,600 in quantity and hailing from over 21 countries worldwide. The report was launched at a high-profile event that was hosted at Hive, which is Unilever’s Foods Innovation Centre located in Wageningen, the Netherlands. This event was attended by prominent individuals within the food industry, including leading chefs and experts in the field. Additionally, the report launch was also simultaneously broadcast via a live stream, which allowed for wider accessibility and reach to the general public, as well as those who were unable to attend the physical event.
