Wow! Momo has introduced a pioneering innovation in India’s QSR landscape with the launch of the country’s first-ever gluten-free momos. Crafted using quinoa and chickpeas, the new range is designed to cater to fitness-conscious consumers, individuals with dietary restrictions, and those seeking healthier food choices without compromising on taste.

To promote the launch, Wow! Momo has collaborated with celebrity chef Ranveer Brar for a digital campaign that highlights the core message: indulgence can be inclusive. The campaign emphasizes that great taste and health can go hand in hand. Referencing a market report that values India’s gluten-free food and beverage segment at USD 22.25 million with a CAGR of 13.93%, Wow! Momo stated that the gluten-free range is high in protein and flavour—qualities rarely combined in the quick service restaurant (QSR) space.

Sagar Daryani, co-founder and CEO of Wow! Momo Foods, shared, “For us, momos represent more than just food—they’re a symbol of comfort and cultural connection. With our gluten-free range, we are welcoming more people into that emotional experience. It reflects our commitment to innovation that includes, not excludes. As we grow our presence in the QSR space, this launch aligns with our vision to offer smarter, healthier, and more inclusive options.”

Chef Ranveer Brar echoed the sentiment, saying, “Taste is always paramount. No matter how nutritious or unique a dish may be, if it doesn’t excite your palate, it falls flat. I was genuinely impressed by these momos—they nailed the taste, texture, and emotional connection. And the fact that they bring in people who usually miss out? That’s truly special. Great food should be for everyone.” Currently available in 11 major metro cities, the gluten-free momos will soon be part of Wow! Momo’s FMCG ready-to-eat lineup, allowing the brand to reach an even broader audience and strengthen its health-centric offerings.
