V&RO hospitality, which owns various restaurant properties had recently branched out in Mumbai’s Andheri with the launch of ‘Badmaash’. The outlet is co-owned by celebrity Mouni Roy.
Mouni calls it a restaurant ‘that represents my love for progressive Indian cuisine’. Badmaash promises to offer the luscious dining experience with its progressive Indian servings, experimental cocktails and high energy ambience.
It serves Mouni’s personal favourite dishes such as the combination of shimeji crisps and stir-fried mushroom milagu. The zesty Cocktail ‘Mounilicious’ a wonderful wordplay of the actor’s name is a delicious blend of elderflower and gin with the garnishing flavour of the curry leaves.
“The menu at Badmaash is an absolute delight, and I am excited to share this culinary journey with everyone. The Stir-fried Mushroom Milagu with Shimeji Crisps is one of my personal favourites, and I can’t wait for everyone to try it. The interiors of the restaurantare designed to offer an interior voyage into the woods.The wildlife inspired setting includes the woods and greens.The grey and gold metals and the tiger themed interiors with the Jaisalmer stone representing the tiger stripes, stand true to it.
The seating is rich with black and yellow granite.The metallic textures andmirrors in the bar offer a vibrant experience. The menu has been curated by Ishan Khanna, a corporate chef who previously worked with the prestigious and award-winning restaurants such as 360 at The Oberoi New Delhi, O22 at Trident, Bandra Mumbai. Partnering him in the kitchen is the eminent chef, Japneet Singh, who worked with the brands like; The Westin Pune and JW Marriott. The expertise brought by them is a promising factor of the elevated Indian cuisine and dining experience.
